Shipping, Returns & General Policy


We ship using Fed Ex, UPS and USPS Mail and Priority Mail depending on product and shipment location. Shipping is free to the lower 48-contiguous states on orders over $75.00 with the exception of some seats and oversize items. Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico and other territories may be subject to additional shipping costs. Expedited shipping is offered on most products, if available you will see a field in which you can place your zip code and the available shipping options will be shown.

Some items may be marked as Oversized, if that is the case shipping is not free and there will be a shipping charge. You may request a shipping quote based on your location.

Some items ship direct from our location in California; others may ship directly from the Manufacturer. Please feel free to contact us if you would like to know the location your item will ship from. We will send you tracking as soon as it is available.


Customers are responsible for checking the accuracy of their orders. Custom orders (any upholstery or seats not in stock) will be held for 48 hours to allow the Customer time to review their order receipt and contact us with any discrepancies. If discrepancies are found after the 48 hour period has expired, we will be unable to make changes to the order and it will stand as ordered. Custom orders cannot be cancelled once the 48-hour period has expired.


If you are not happy with any item purchased from Big Dog Auto, you may return it for a refund or exchange, with the exception of custom orders which are not returnable. Items other than custom orders are returnable within thirty (30) days of receipt and must be in original, uninstalled condition and in original packaging. Please complete the RMA form found HERE prior to returning any items. Please note that custom-made items such as upholstery, seats and carpet are not returnable.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item and original shipping costs are non-refundable. All returns are subject to a Twenty Percent (20%) restocking fee. Refunds may take up to fourteen days to process from the time the item is received by Big Dog Auto.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance.

If an item arrives damaged or defective, please contact us immediately. We will require photos of the damage in order to determine if shipping damage occurred or if the item has a Manufacturer's defect. We will then instruct you how to proceed to have the item replaced.

After thirty (30) days, you will need to contact the Manufacturer direct should you experience a Warranty issue.
